I composed this poem today morning...


Truth Of Light

The stars glittered the sky,
The faint light disappeared in the horizon-
Betraying me, for which the reason is unknown,
Thousands of smiles and frowns passed-by,
Through the album of my life;
And I stopped by the sleeping highway,
The lamps of the cars moved away 'n' away-
When it started to rain!

The North wind whistled through-
my lamp, which eventually turned out;
I had nothing to find my way about,
And my tears rolled with sorrow.
For, I have lost in the battle with wrong,
And everyone accused the darker aspects;
The melancholy tune mixed the dialects-
Touched my heart, and kept me breathe!

I ran up and down the path of darkness,
Disillusioning myself by the shadows of dark.
In the distance I heard some creatures bark-
But again its dark, the dark matress...
Gradually covered the days of hope,
But I refused to give in, I have to find my way;
And I have to oppose pushing me away
I was really left Alone!

I realised there is nothing to trust,
The signs of highway misleading-
to no-where, Although time kept speeding,
The sound of silence broke the crust-
Making my palette run out of colour,
I was unable to figure out the deal,
Cause no one would understand what i feel
Lost in the darkness!

I went on walking 'n' walking,
Till I felt a blush of light moving closer-
Difficult to decipher, though it seemed easier-
To run away, Feared by light!
When I heard a soft voice penetrating
Over the waves of thunder high
I turned back, my image gave a sigh;
I stretched my arms!

You drove the cab piercing through-
The silence, The dark, and sorrow,
I cried again, for I know-
How much I owe to you
You sprinkled colours in the story,
Of my Life, Rediscovering the glory
Of how it feels to be united forever;
I realised!

I will not be alone again-
'Cause the sweet memories would keep me alive,
Till I die battling against all odds,
For the truth of Light!
