Yesterday (11th Sept) I went along with my theater group Sangbarta for the show @ santiniketan. It was a Rabindranath Play "Rinsodh" moreover it was my debut as the lead character "Uponanda" and that too in Tagore's place. It was a different feeling altogether. I took few items, dresses and costumes in my black Puma backpack and left with Sunil Jethu, Manotosh Jethu, Sanjay Da and our Thakurda in 2 taxis to Howrah station. Babai bid me good bye from Sunil Jethu's home. At the howrah station we met up with Santanu Uncle, Ria, Sajal Kaku, and Dibya. We entered into our compartment and had our seats while the train departed. We enjoyed a lot inside the train, we sang, laughed and watched the scenario of lush green fields. The moment we were near Santiniketan Station, heavy shower accompanied us. We took a Tata Sumo to our cottage. It was named "Srijani Shilpagram" and it was near Amar Kuthi. The location was excellent, with beautiful picturesque decorated garden and pebbled roads. We had 2 dormitories. In one there were about 12lined beds one after another. And in the other room, it was double deckers! We hoped into the 2nd floor of the bed instantly. Then we had our food, roamed around there and got ready for the show @ 6pm. The drama went quite good with no faults. Everyone applauded my acting :P though it wasn't very good. Teachers from Viswa Bharati and other delegates were also present there. After the show Ria, Dibya, Me and Sanjay da's Bhagne who played as the 3rd balok in Balok Dal had a good time with cracking jokes on each other. I also slept on laps of Ria. The night was one of the memorable night I have spent. We slept all together. Sajal kaku was always the funny man with pranks. Today morning day we roamed around a bit and then got ready and departed for Kolkata around 12noon. By the time it was around 5 I came back home. It is my 1st night stay in a trip without my family.
